WYNDHAM NOTES

(From Our Correspondent.) Miss L. Rice is spending a holiday at Queenstown. Mrs George Dickson, Edendale, spent Easter at Christchurch. Mr H. McKay, Christchurch, is the guest of Mr J. McKay, Glenham. Mr Benjamin Richardson is at present on a visit to Arrowtown. Miss Lange, Invercargill, is the guest of Mr and Mrs J. S. Stewart, Wyndham. Mr and Mrs J. Mills spent the Easter holidays in Dunedin. Miss E. Hughes, Dunedin, was the guest of Miss Alison McKenzie, Malta street, during the holidays. Mr J. F. Lines was the guest of Mr and Mrs Ericsen, Haldane, during the holidays. Miss Olive Malcolmson and Messrs G. Baird and A. Malcolmson, Dunedin, were the guests of Mr and Mrs W. Malcolmson, Alma street, during the holidays. Mr and Mrs J. W. Carley and Mrs Carley, sen., Dunedin, also Miss Mahoney, Invercargill, were the guests of Mr and Mrs T. Hickey, Edendale, during Easter. Mr John Dobbie and Miss E. Dobbie, Glenham, are spending a holiday in Dunedin. Mr and Mrs Fox, Dunedin, have returned home after being the guests of Mr and Mrs T. Hunter, Glenham. Mr and Mrs Douglas Hunter have returned to Wyndham and have taken up house- in their new residence in Alma street. Mr and Mrs Buxton, Otautau, were guests of Mr and Mrs A. Ferguson, South Wyndham, over the holidays. Miss M. Russell, Dunedin, has returned home after spending Easter as the guest of Mr and Mrs Duffy, Glenham. Mr Andrew Muir, Edendale, was the guest of Mrs Fowle, Clifden, during Easter. Mr E. G. Macpherson spent Eastertide with his daughter, Mrs A. O. Henderson, Balfour. Mr and Mrs Carol Larsen have returned home and have taken up house in Ferry road. Messrs George Strang, Gore, and Lex Strang, Dunedin, were recent visitors to their parents, Mr and Mrs T. M. Strang. Miss Jean Clarke, Wyndham, and Mr W. Hansen, of Invercargill, were the guests of Mr and Mrs J. Hansen, Wendon, during Easter. A former resident, Mr W. Wilson, of Weatherstones, Lawrence, is at present visiting Wyndham. Mr and Mrs L. Harley attended the Foresters’ Conference at Dunedin at Easter. Miss Mary Robinson, Cardigan road, spent Easter with her grandparents, Mr and Mrs R. Hill, at Abbotsford. Mrs I. W. Raymond is at present the guest of Dr J. E. and Mrs Rogers, Gore, and with Mrs Rogers and Miss M. Rogers visited Wyndham on Wednesday last. Mr and Mrs C. E. Davey and Mr Alan Davey returned to Wyndham on .Wednesday* •
