RIVERSDALE NOTES
(From Our Correspondent.) The weather throughout the Christmas and New Year holidays has been the most unseasonable experienced at this time of the year for a considerable number of years. The indications at the present time are for finer weather which will be welcomed by campers and the farming community generally. Mrs Lambert (Wellington) and her son and daughter have been the guests of Mr and Mrs J. Strachan.
Mrs F. Hollingworth (Dunedin), who has been the guest of her mother (Mrs Wallace), has returned to town. The local Girl Guides Company, with the Waikaia Guide Comnany, will go into camp at Oreti Beach at the end of the week.
Mr W. Kelly, of the Railway Hotel, has sufficiently recovered from his severe illness to be able to return to his / home. / Miss G. F. Tait is spending a holiday S at Queenstown.
