SALUTE NOT GIVEN
FOOTBALL CLUB SUSPENDED.
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 7.0 p.m.) Berlin, January 7. The Karlsruhe Football Club has been prohibited from playing in 1934 because the team failed to give the salute on entering the field against a French club at Nancy in December. The abstention was allegedly clue to the Frenchmen threatening not to play and there would be no compensation if the salute was given because it was feared that the spectators would riot.
