BOLIVIA AND PARAGUAY
ARMISTICE ENDS TO-MORROW.

Paraguay formally refused on Thursday to extend the truce with Bolivia in the Chaco warfare. The armistice ends at midnight on Saturday. Bolivia already has acceded to qn extension of the armistice to January 14. Paraguay’s failure to approve was attributed to an official misunderstanding.
