WORK AT GENEVA
ACTING ON BRITISH DRAFT CONVENTION. (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, October 27. The Secretary of the League of Nations will make a revised text of the British Draft Convention embodying all that has been decided upon since the first reading, and it will be circulated to all the delegations. Further conversations will also take place, and the results of these may furnish material for fuller revision when the General Commission reassembles. The last word must rest with this body, which is representative of all the States taking part in the conference. Mr Henderson this evening decided to call a meeting of the bureau of the conference for November 3 instead . of November 9. It is expected that important conversations will meantime have taken place at Geneva.
