CROYDON SCHOOL
JUBILEE PREPARATIONS. The third meeting of the Croydon School Jubilee Committee was held in the hall on Thursday evening. Ever increasing interest was-shown and two new members, Miss Pryde and Mr Hardy, were added to the committee. Arrangements for the banquet, picnic and memorial service were discussed. It was decided to keep the prices for admission to all functions at as low a level as possible, so that no hardship may be placed on anyone. Correspondence from ex-pupils from Whaingarei to Bluff was read, an . d many ex-pupils resident far from their old school and district have displayed intense interest. Only by prompt replies to communications can the interest in the functions be kept up. Should any ex-pupils not receive circular, badge, or ribbon, they may rest assured that their addresses are not known, and the committee will be delighted to hear from them. Donations to the funds were received from many ex-pupils as well as from the Croydon and Croydon Siding young people.
