RESERVE BANK BILL
AN EARLY REAPPEARANCE. GOVERNMENT’S ATTITUDE. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, July 21. The Reserve Bank Bill, which provides for the establishment of a Central Bank in New Zealand, will probably make its reappearance during next session of Parliament. The Bill was introduced last session, but aid not get past the first reading stage. A definite decision as to the fate of the Bill will not be made by the Government until the Prime Minister, the Hon. G. W. Forbes, has given an indication of the London opinion, but it is believed the present attitude of the Government is that a Central Bank is an important part of the general plan of reconstruction.
