THE GRASSHOPPER INVASION. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Winnipeg. June 23. The grasshopper situation showed a distinct improvement to-day with the advent of decidedly cooler weather following generous falls of rain in the southern portions of Manitoba. The heavy run on the poison belt stations during last week’s heat wave has necessitated some readjustments in distribution, but the officials state the situation is well under control.
