LUCKY PROSPECTORS
GOOD STRIKE CLAIMED. (Per United Press Association.) Dunedin, June 14. It is reported from Lawrence that three prospectors, J. Williamson, M. Mclver Mid R. Walker, who have been working in various parts of Otago for some time, have found excellent prospects on property occupied by C. Lucas at Tuapeka Mouth and claims have been applied for. The miners have expressed the opinion that the old riverbed has been struck and that it is a continuation of the lead from the Tuapeka Mouth G.M. Company’s claim which has’ proved very rich in the last few months. . It is also reported that R. Skinner, Tuapeka Mouth, also met with considerable success in prospecting in the same locality.
