STATE EMPLOYEE DISMISSED. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 8.40 p.m.) Sydney, June 12. Mr Justice Davidson awarded £7OOO compensation to Augustus Scott, a former chairman of the Metropolitan Meat Industry Board, as a result of the termination of his services by the present New South Wales Government. Mr Scott was a Lang Government appointee. Similar actions have been launched against the Government in respect to the dismissal of other persons who held important posts under the Lang Administration.
