WOOL PRICES RISE
SYDNEY SALES RESUMED. UP TO 20 PER CENT. ADVANCE. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 8.40 p.m.) Sydney, June 12. The wool sales were resumed to-day under very strong, general competition. The market compared with the closing sales early in May was 15 to 20 per cent, higher, occasionally more. The greatest appreciation was noticeable on good spinning wools, which enjoyed a keen demand on American account. Greasy Merino made to IG.jd. The offerings totalled 11,730 bales of which 10,471 were sold, also 1416 which were disposed of privately.
