COMPETITION IN AUSTRALIA. (United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) London, May 9. The Manchester Guardian says the Manchester Chamber of Commerce’s close study reveals that Japanese competition in the Australian market is very alarming. Australia at present is Lancashire’s second biggest market. A special committee has compiled exhaustive and constructive reports which are being conveyed to the Government. <4 5.
