£12,000,00 LOAN UNDERWRITTEN. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) London, May 9. An Indian loan of £12,000,000 at 4 per cent., 1948-53, has been underwritten and is being issued at £97 10/-. It will be used as capital for railway expenditure and also to redeem the outstanding balance of £7,000,000 of 6 per cent, bonds, 1933-45. LOAN OVERSUBSCRIBED.
