CHRISTCHURCH TRAINING COLLEGE. STUDENTS FINISH COURSES. (Per United Press Association.) Christchurch, May 9. It is understood that the Christchurch Training College will be closed at the end of this year. Since the admission of probationers was stopped at the beginning of 1931, the only teachers in training this year are second year, third year and graduate students. These will all have finished their course at the end of the year and since, according to the statement of the Minister (the Hon. R. Masters) no new students will be admitted until 1935, it is regarded as certain that the college will be closed, temporarily at least.
