Work on the waterfront was carried out under slightly better conditions yesterday. The Kia Ora was expected to complete last night and to sail a little after midnight for Wellington, while the Orari is due to sail tor Timaru early this afternoon. The Tamatea leaves for Stewart Island at 10.15 a.m. to-day. She returns to Bluff tom The V Shaw, n SaviH and Albion liner Taranaki is expected to reach Bluff from the north about 2 p.m. to-day.
