BRITISH AIRCRAFT
OFFICIAL DISTINGUISHING MARK. (British Official Wireless.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, May 6. British aircraft have been granted an official distinguishing mark consisting of a lion rampant in gold within three rings of red, white and blue. The mark is to distinguish aircraft which are of British construction and are in possession of a certificate of airworthiness. It has been registered under the Trade Marks Act.
