GANDHI’S FAST
QUESTION OF RELEASE FROM PRISON. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Calcutta, May 5. The Government has not yet decided to release Gandhi. It is consulting Whitehall, but he is likely to be freed on the second day of his fast, which, despite appeals from all parts of the country, Gandhi refuses to abandon.
