SALVAGE STEAMER LOST. 23 OF A CREW. (United Press Assn. —Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 6.30 p.m.) Spitsbergen, May 6. “Farewell everybody, we are sinking” was the last wireless message from the Soviet salvage steamer Rouslan which foundered with a crew of 23 off the South Cape of Spitsbergen, where she had been stranded in the pack-ice for two months. A little Russian colony at Barentzburg heard the wireless and despatched assistance. The signals ceased on April <s6. The search was fruitless.
