Girl’s Wonderful Hands.

When Prince George opened the North London Exhibition at the Alexandra Palace recently he saw a pretty flaxen-haired firl of 16 possessing wonderful hands, with exceptionally supple and long tapering fingers. Some visitors who watched her at work asked to hold and examine her hands. The girl, who has been called “the Princess of Potters,” is Miss Evelyn Bailey, daughter of a widow living in Glass street, Hanley. “This is the first time I have ever been to London,” she said. “When I was 13 years old my grandfather, who is a skilled potter, taught me how to throw things in clay on the. wheel.” ■
