The Little Southlanders

Cousin Betty wishes to acknowledge all the last minute gifts that were sent to her this week for the Hospital, also the following new cash donations: — Cousin Clarice Lean—6d. Cousin Betty Macdonald—9d. Cousins Katherine and Mary O’Brien —2/6. Cousin Valerie Romans—l/-. Cousin Margaret Longmuir—6d. Cousins James, Ivan and Mary Fortune—l/-. She also has the pleasant news for her Little Southlanders that the picnic is not to take place until after school resumes—probably on Saturday, February 11, so that all Little Southlanders will be able to take an active part in the day’s proceedings. Meanwhile, even in the midst of enjoying splendid holidays, remember to keep a sharp lookout for used, neglected or outgrown toys! They will be fine to pass on to poorer children who will appreciate them. Somebody is already collecting used tennis balls with a will! Merry Christmas once again, children! Cousin Betty signing off!
