AUSTRALIAN WOOL
JAPAN A HEAVY BUYER. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 10.45 p.m.) Sydney, December 21. Leading business men who returned to Sydney to-day from the East declared that Japan was now one of the largest buyers of Australian wool. They estimated that the purchases would soon reach 1,000,000 bales a year. They were convinced that Japan’s influence would soon lead to prosperity in Manchuria which would presently be needing Australian wool in the some proportion as Japan.
