CHEAPER STEEL
UNDER £2 A TON. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 7 p.m.) London, December 21. Experiments carried out for many months enabled the Duffield Iron Corporation to produce steel saleable at under £2 a ton, half of the present cost. The firm is now installing a commercial production plant.
