NATIVE INTERESTS SAFEGUARDED (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, December 20. Sir Philip Cunliffe-Lister, Secretary of State for the Colonies, gave an assurance that the Bill introduced in the Legislative Council in Kenya regarding mineral rights in the newly-dis-covered Kenya goldfields provided ample safeguards for the interests of the native population of the area.
