NEW MOTORING RECORD

SUCCESS IN BRITISH CAR. (British Official Wireless.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, December 20, A new motoring record for 24 hours in the 750 c.c.m. class was set up by a British car on the Monthery track in Paris to-day. Messrs Ekston, Denley and Wisdom, taking three-hour turns at the wheel of a little seven-horse-power midget car of standard pattern, covered between yesterday afternoon and this afternoon 2727 kilometres, approximately 1704 miles. The previous record stood at 2534 kilometres, approximately 1554 miles.
