MONTHLY MEETING. SUPERINTENDENT’S REPORT. , The monthly meeting of the Invercargill Fire Board was held yesterday. There were present: Mr E. B. Pilcher (chairman), his Worship the Mayor, Mr John Miller, and Messrs C. J. Broad, M. N. Hyndman and R. N. Todd. The monthly report of the superintendent (Mr F. Simpson) stated that the usual monthly visit of insuection had been paid to Lome Farm, Kew, and Karitane. Routine work, drills, duties, etc., had been faithfully performed and all plant and equipment were in first class order. At the conclusion of the meeting the chairman extended seasonal greetings to the members and staff, the Mayor responding.
