CLERGYMAN MISSING
CLOTHES FOUND ON BEACH. (Per United Press Association.) Tauranga, November 1. The police have been searching all the afternoon for the body of the Rev. E. G. Ault, whose clothes were found on the beach at Welcome Bay, an inlet of Tauranga harbour, this morning. Ault was missed from his home at Turus on Saturday. His car was discovered on the Tauranga-Te Puke road last night about five miles from Tauranga. As the tide was full when the clothes were found and the bay is an extensive area, the police did not begin their search till low tide when most of the area was bare. Up till a late hour this afternoon no trace had been found of the body. Ault was about 50 years of age and has suffered failing health for the past three months, recently having a nervous breakdown.
