WHEAT PRICES
A HEAVY DROP LOWEST EVER RECORDED CHICAGO QUOTATIONS (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 7.5 p.m.) Chic .go, October 26. Grain prices dropped to the lowest value ever recorded by the Chicago Board of Trade. At a few interior stations bidding on any basis was entirely suspended. The cash prices of wheat and corn in the southwestern states was less than half the freight charges to Chicago. The price of Kansas wheat is 20 cents, approximately a quarter of the cost of production. - VANCOUVER’S EXPORTS DOUBLE LAST YEAR. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Vancouver, October 26. The wheat exports for Vancouver doubled 1931 to-day, totalling eighteen million bushels. Bookings to the end of December total fourteen million bushels, of which eleven million is for Britain and the balance for the Orient,
