“HUNGER MARCHERS”
ARRIVAL AT LONDON. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) London, October 26. “Hunger marchers” totalling 2000 have reached the suburbs and were welcomed by mass meetings of the unemployed. They are accommodated in schoolrooms and church halls and are provided with food, baths and medical attendance. The contingent arriving at Acton was headed by a piper and a man carrying the Red Flag. Copeman, leader of the Norwich contingent, was dismissed from the navy after the Invergordon affair. Buglers and drummers led the South Coast marchers who are arriving at Wimbledon.
