PENSION PAYMENTS
IRISH CIVIL WAR VETERANS. (United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) Dublin, October 21. The Dail Eireann by 68 votes to 49 read a second time the Government Bill providing for wounds disability pensions for those who fought on the Republican side in the civil war.. Mr F. Aiken, Minister of Defence, said the British had set themselves out to start the civil war and unfortunately succeeded. He claimed that the . Bill would be a real step towards national unity, The scheme would cost £30,000 in 1933.
