IMPRISONED GANDHI
RELEASE NOT INTENDED. (United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 10.45 p.m.) Delhi, October 10. It is authoritatively learned that Gandhi will not be released to participate in the negotiations to reach a Hindu-Moslem agreement, though facilities may be given him to see the selected leaders. There has been considrable agitation to secure Gandhi’s release for this purpose, but the Government is resolved that there can be no question of releasing any Congress leaders till Congress calls off the civil disobedience campaign.
