CROQUET
WAIHOPAI CLUB. The Waihopai Croquet Club opened its greens for the season on Saturday under ideal weather conditions. There was a large number of visitors present and a most enjoyable time was soent with competitions. Mr G. Stevens, president of the Waihopai Sports Association, opened the greens and in doing so congratulated the club on the very fine appearance of the lawns and wished the members a 1 successful season. The following were the winners of the competitions: Fremjh- croquet, Miss Anderson; target, Mrs W. Robinson; bullseye, Miss Talbot; trail, Miss Cockroft; angles, Mrs Wesney; hurry scurry, Mrs Smith and Mrs McKeever.
