COMPLETION DELAYED
WAITAKI HYDRO ELECTRIC SCHEME. INSUFFICIENT FUNDS. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, October 7. On account of the heavy reduction in appropriations for hydro-electric development, the completion of the Waitaki scheme has been postponed until 1934, states the Minister, the Hon ,C. E. MacMillan. Even then it will only be finished provided the funds available next year are on a more liberal scale.
