“FIRE ENGINE MENACE.”
To the Editor.
Sir,—l quite agree with our Mayor that fire engines should observe “traffic regulations.” In the old days of “manual” fire prevention the building and allied trades were in a healthy coiidition. .Now with those wretched flying engines there seems nd possibility of a decent fire and insurance companies wax fat. If anything his Worship can do to retard their progress he will have the hearty support of right thinking labour.—l am, etc. “JEEVES.”
