ENTERTAINMENTS
EMPIRE PICTURES, RIVERTON.
“THE SPY” AND “LEAVE IT TO ME.”
The above two features and two newsreels comprise the programme for Friday and Saturday at the Empire Pictures, Riverton. “The Spy” reveals the intrigue and oppression and the manner in which the Soviets deal with aristocrats following the horrible Red Revolution. The picture is charged with thrills and suspense, and rises to the heights of screen entertainment with its masterful direction and emotional acting. “Leave It To Me” is an excellent British comedy drama.
