THE OATH ISSUE
POSTPONEMENT SUGGESTED. (United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 8.10 p.m.) London, June 14. The Daily Express says that Mr de Valera had a telephone conversation with Mr Thomas in reference, it is understood, to a suggestion that the oath issue be postponed until both Governments conferred with the Governments of the Dominions at Ottawa. MR DE VALERA SILENT. (Rec. 8.45 p.m.) London, June 14. The Free State Cabinet rose at 12.50 after a six-hour sitting. Mr de Valera refused to make a statement.
