MILITARY FUNERAL
LATE GENERAL SHIRAKAWA. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 10.30 p.m.) Tokio, May 31. Saluted by 17 guns, the cruiser Tatsu entered Yokosaka at noon, bringing the body of General Shirakawa, the victim of the bombing outrage at Shanghai, to whom the Vernacular Press refers as a fallen hero. A special train was met at Tokio by the highest military and civil officials. The funeral takes place on Thursday with military honours.
