FATAL INJURIES
BLOW DURING FRACAS. (Per United Press Association.) Christchurch, May 30. William Henry Lang, aged 38, a married man, died in the hospital on Saturday. He was a volunteer tramway worker during the recent strike and was admitted to hospital last week suffering from an injury which it is alleged he suffered during a fracas at Lancaster Park on May 7. A post mortem examination was ordered at the inquest held on Saturday and the police action will depend on the finding. The police report says Lang received a severe blow on the nose and inflammation set in. Meanwhile inquiries are being made.
