LAND ANNUITIES
FREE STATE’S CLAIM. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Dublin, May 29. Mr Sean Lemass, Minister of Industry and Commerce, speaking at Cork, foreshadowed a further stiffening of the Free State’s attitude towards Britain. He said that as the land annuities had been stopped and the money retained here, he was now going to demand the British Government to pay back £30,000,000 it had already illegally received.
