LEADER ARRIVES AT AUCKLAND. « (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, March 21. General Higgins, Mrs Higgins and party arrived by the Niagara for a month’s whirlwind tour of New Zealand. They were warmly welcomed by a large following. Interviewed, General Higgins said he believed in church unity, but not in church union as applied by one organization. "There is a great blessing in holy rivalry,” he said. Mrs Higgins said she was a great believer in opportunity for women. But for women the Army's work would not be what it is. General Higgins is expected to reach Invercargill on Monday, April 4, and will speak in the Civic Theatre that evening, returning north the following day.
