NIGHTCAPS NOTES
CRICKET. Wairio played a return match against the Nightcaps eleven on the local grounds on Wednesday afternoon. The game was played under fair weather conditions, though a light shower held up play for a while. Wairio batting first compiled 49, the home side replying with 117 runs for 7 wickets.
