CANADA EXPECTANT
TRADE WITH NEW ZEALAND. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 9.55 ->.m.) Toronto, March 9. The Council of the Canadian Manufacturers' Association reports that word from various parts of Canada indicates that manufacturers are waiting expectantly for the proclamation of a trade agreement between Canada and New Zealand, the announcement of which is expected shortly. The association is co-operating in the establishment of a committee which will endeavour to increase Canadian trade with New Zealand. A considerable increase in the sale of Australian products in Canada as a result of the trade agreement between the two Dominions is reported. The preparatory work for the Imperial Economic Conference at Ottawa in July is proceeding in a promising manner.
