MR COSGRAVE’S POLICY DEFINED. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) London, March 8. The Dublin correspondept of The Times says that Mr W. T. Cosgrave, in outlining his policy, said: “Reasonable facilities will not be denied the new Administration, but it must not be inferred that we will shirk our duty as a Parliamentary Opposition or that we will be a consenting party to discrediting the national honour. Nor will we look on silently while the country’s economic problems, during a period of world-wide economic depression, are made the sport of politics and the resources of the people are frittered away upon unsound and fantastic schemes.” REPUBLICANS TAKE OATH. (Rec. 11.15 p.m.) London, March 9. In view of to-day’s meeting of the Dail, practically all Republican deputies have taken the oath of allegiance. Mr de Valera met a deputation from the Labour Party, and it is believed that some sort of bargain lias struck.
