MAN DECLARED INSANE. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 7.15 p.m.) London, March 8. George Tandy was found guilty of the murder of his wife and was declared insane. He was sentenced to be detained at his Majesty’s pleasure. A daughter gave evidence that she and her brother protected their father at times from their mother’s drunken fury. The Judge said the prisoner was entitled to sympathy. He had been both a mother and a father to his children. 'file body of Mrs Tandy was found buried in a greenhouse.
