James Moynaha, the winner of the first prize in the art union, is a man about 60 years, unmarried, and until recently was roadman on the Rangitikei County Council working on the Napier-Taihape load. He is now unemployed. He was listening in at a wireless in a friend’s house and heard his name announced as the holder of the winning ticket. He was too excited this evening to .speak to a rejiorter and had not discussed even with his friends his future intentions.
