GRADING OF JUNIOR TEAMS. MEETING OF ADVISORY BOARD. A meeting of the Junior Advisory Board of the Southland Cricket Association was held last evening, the following delegates being present: Messrs A. R. Tarr (in the chair), W. Bews, A. Hogg, R. Hallamore, G. Agnew, D. Robinson and J. Ingram (secretary). A. Mudie was granted a regrade from junior B to third grade. Acting on the request of the urgency committee of the association for a recommendation regarding the grading of the junior teams, it was decided to recommend to the Management Committee of the association that the winner of the UnionOollegiato match (junior B grade), to bo played to-day, be promoted to junior A grade. In the event of a drawn game the team with the most competition points to be promoted. It was not considered desirable to promote three teams from junior B to junior A on the ground that three teams sufficiently strong were not available. To fill the vacancy in the junior B com-

petition caused by the promotion of the winner of the Collegiate-Union match, it was decided to promote Borstal from third grade to junior B, this promotion obviating the present bye in the third grade competition.
