COUSINS ALL!
Cousins, have you ever thought that ’ere this world began God had made up in his mind a really wondrous plan. A way by which the sick ones could in many a painful hour Just turn to our dear Page and read the thoughts of a beautiful flower. The flower of Unity and Love. A corner watered well And in it each small flower can tell Of beauty found in every place And speaking of our glorious race.
The years have sped on golden wings But to us, Cousins, this year brings Our seventh birthday. Happy thought For Cousins, happiness like ours cannot be simply bought. Seven years of love and toil to make our garden grow And now we must continue on the good seeds still to sow. Our gardener is a patient one. Without her, -weeds would spring But thanks to Cousin Betty now we merrily can sing A very happy birthday tune, with joyous note and ring. —Cousin Betty McDonald (15), 71 Conon street, InvercargiU.
