GOOD PROGRESS
MR WINSTON CHURCHILL.

(Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, December 16. According to a cable received by his son from New York, Mr Winston Churchill is “getting on very well indeed, is improving steadily and is in wonderful spirits.” New York reports state that a bulletin regarding Mr Churchill records his progress as most favourable. The symptoms of pleurisy have improved and the wounds are healing well. He is suffering much less pain.
