PLANE DAMAGED
DISTANCE FLIGHT POSTPONED.

The projected attempt on the world’s non-stop long distance flight record has been postponed owing to an accident to the Royal Air Force Fairey-Napier monoplane this afternoon. Although the machine turned over on its nose both pilots escaped unhurt. The aircraft will be taken to the Fairey aviation works for overhaul tomorrow.
