FOUND DEAD. (Per United Press Association). Te Aroha, December 15. Ernest Boullion, aged about 55, was found dead in the rear portion of Herries Park early this morning with a fatal wound. Deceased was lying on his side with his right hand on a revolver. Boulliop, who was a well-known figure in banking circles, was about to commence a period of relieving the Te Aroha manager of the Bank of New Zealand for a month. COUPLE’S TRAGIC END. Dunedin, December 15. Robert Joseph Norman and his wife were found dead in bed this morning at their residence in Fingall street, South Dunedin, with the gas turned on. Norman was 62 and his wife, Lydia, about the same age. Norman was a taxi driver. They were found dead in bed by a constable, the gas jet being turned on and the doors and windows locked. YOUNG MAN’S DEATH. Dunedin, December 15. At the inquest on Thomas Garland MacLean, aged 22, who died suddenly while working at a motor car, the medical evidence was to the effect that death was caused by heart failure due to toxic charges, resulting from influenza and aggravated by exertion after a heavy meal. A verdict was returned accordingly. MARRIED MAN FOUND DEAD. Dunedin, December 15. At the inquest on Patrick O’Connor, a married man who was found dead with a tin of ether under his nose, the Coroner returned an open verdict, adding that ether was a dangerous thing to get into the hands of the public indiscriminately and should be brought under the Sales of Poisons Act. INJURIES PROVE FATAL. Masterton, December 15. Oswald McAlpine, aged 18, of Martinborough, who was accidentally shot while shooting rabbits at Whatarangi on Sunday, died early this morning. At the inquest a verdict was returned of death due to toxaemia, caused by a gunshot wound accidentally self-inflicted. KILLED BY BULL. Gisborne, December 15. While bringing in a mob of cows to milk this afternoon, William King Robb, aged 58 years, a well-known farmer of Patutahi, was attacked by a bull and when discovered later was found to be dead, haring been gored by the infuriated animal and badly rolled under a boxthorn hedge. Deceased leaves a widow and grownup family.
