SALE OF LABRADOR
OFFER MADE TO CANADA.

Sir William Coaker, Minister without portfolio in the Newfoundland Government, said on his arrival here that the Newfoundland Government had officially submitted proposals for the purchase by Canada of Labrador territory at a valuation of 100,000,000 dollars. He stated that the Canadian Government was unable to deal with the matter while the depression in Canada continued.
